    "4-6 Jonathan Linsley 2nd (Jonathan, 2 Johns) He was born in Branford June 13 1707. His father died early and mother married again and moved to Wallingford. He died 1768. In 'First Families of New Haven, DLJ', we find 'Lois Pond, dau of Moses and Mary (Brainard) Pond born June 20 1730 m Jonathan Linsley'. Lois gave deed 29 June 1771 … she must have died soon after sec … Dec 22 1777. Then 'Administration on the estate of Jonathan Linsley was granted, 10 Mar 1768, to Lois Linsley. Distribution made to: Widow; Benjamin; Resign; Lorain; Brainard, (he chose Daniel Page for guardian 1775), Silvanus; Aaron (he chose Daniel Linsley for guardian 1768); Dorcas wife of Eli Rogers; Jacob eldest son; Jonathan; and heirs of Sarah Olds. (Guilford Probate).

    Branford Land Records - 10-392 June 29 1771 Lois Linsley Late of Branford and now of Waterbury, conveys to Daniel Page land set to her from the estate of her late husband Jonathan Linsley dec'd. Again 10-393 Dec 22 1777, Jacob, Benjaman, Jonathan and Aaron of Farmington, convoy to Daniel Page, land set to our mother Lois Linsley. Again 10-464. There are deeds to the heirs of Daniel Page from Braynard Linsley of Southington, (right set to mother Lois Linsley) and from Resign Linsley of Woodbridge (land set to mother Lois from estate of father Jonathan Linsley)."
