  3. Source:Gould, Benjamin Apthorp. Family of Zaccheus Gould of Topsfield, p. 52, says Jonathan, "bapt. 17098 Sept. 4, at same time with Patience and probably twin with her". However there is no evidence to support that assertion (which the posted birth date of 25 Aug 1709 is based on) since Jonathan's birth, unlike Patience's, is not recorded, there is no age at death to show he was born in 1709, and the previous birth leaves a 6 year gap prior to Patience. It is far more likely given the evidence at hand, that Jonathan was born about 1706, and a shared baptism is not a good indicator that they were twins.
