    Jonathan Gage (John 1), born 1645, married, Nov. 12, 1667, Hester Chandler, and died Mar 15, 1674-5. It appears from a deed recorded with the Ipswich Deeds, Vol 4, page 333, that the widow of Jonathan married John Wilson of Elizabethtown, N.J., and no further record of this family appears in Massachusetts.
    Children born in Bradford, Jonathan. A Jonathan Gage appears in a list of debts in the inventory of the estate of John Allen of Woodbridge, NJ, filed Jan. 18, 1683-4; Naomi, b. Sept. 2, 1672. A Naomi Gage married Stephen Bedford of Bristol RI, and had two children.

    Attested in Ipswich court Mar. 30, 1675 by Hester Gage, relict of Jonathan.
    Whereas Mr. Francis Wainwright had power granted to him to administer upon the estate of Jonathan Gage at Ipswich court, in Mar. 1675, and had paid part of the debts, as per account brought in, the remaining part being mostly in land, is willing the widow should make the best of the estate, and resigned his administratorship Mar. 28, 1676. Court granted administration to Hester Gage, the widow.
