↑Source:Fairbanks, Lorenzo Sayles. Genealogy of the Fairbanks Family in America, 1633-1897, p. 118, says Jonathan d. 7 May 1777 but neither death record nor gravestone has been located. On top of that, there is no baptism found for Jonathan which strongly hints he died very soon after birth, especially since the next child was born only 16 months later (not a foolproof indicator but combined with lack of baptism very suggestive). Evidence needed.
