Genealogy of the Fairbanks Family in America, 1633-1897, p. 118, says the father Jabez "lived and died on the farm in West Boylston, then a part of Lancaster, which is now owned by his great grandson, Henry." The births of the children have been entered as West Boylston even though recorded in Lancaster. Likewise, Chocksett Church where the baptisms occurred is in Sterling, then part of Lancaster as well.
