No further records which definitely refer to Jonathan, son of Richard and Ann Crosland, have been found. There is also a Jonathan Crosland baptised 27 Sep 1835 at Holmfirth, son of Joseph and Sarah Crosland which confuses the picture. One of them probably became a vicar at various parishes in the West Riding and died around 1900. The vicar's wife was named Jane.
