"28 Jonathan Brewster (Wrestling2, Love2, William1), married March 6, 1709, Mary, daughter of his stepfather, John Partridge, of Duxbury, Mass., and his first wife, Hannah Seabury, born May 2, 1693. He died November 24, 1753. 'Jonathan lived at Duxbury until 1727, when he sold his estate there and removed to Lebanon, Conn. In 1730 he bought land in Windham, Conn., being called 'of Lebanon' in the deed, and removed to that place, where he died … His wife, Mary, is not mentioned in his will, which was dated March 14, 1748, and had evidently died before that time.'─N. 5. According to the inscription on his gravestone at Windham, he "died November the 23d AD 1753 in the 60th year of his Age." This implies that he was born c. 1693. While possible, it is unlikely that any young man of the period would marry at the age of 17.
