info. from genealogy records of Munson L. Mains, a great grandson of Joseph Zahller, brother of Christian, says his name is John Christian Zahller. One source says Christian was born in Switzerland and another says Germany. The Mains journal says all of the family was born in Berne, Switzerland and left for America in 1791. John Christian was a child in arms and was the only one on shipboard that lived due to lack of fresh water. I don't quite understand this because later it says who the other 3 children married and in 1791 they would've been too young to be married??
