[Note: no evidence of the first marriage has been found. There is a John Walton or Watton in Warwick in the 1790 census (middle column about 2/3 way down the column) that seems to match but no Warwick records for him seem to exist. Some of the claimed children can be found as adults, but no evidence of a relationship to John is apparent. This marriage has not been entered and is left for a future poster who may have more solid evidence.]
