John Woodbridge VI (1613–1696) was an English nonconformist, who emigrated to New England. He had positions on both sides of the Atlantic, until 1663, when he settled permanently in New England.

MIGRATION: 1634 on the Mary & John (on 24 March 1633/4, 'John Woodbridge' was enrolled at Southampton as a passenger for New England on the Mary & John [Drake's Founders 70])." "RETURN TRIPS: Sailed for England in late 1638 to deal with his father's estate and returned to New England in 1639. To England in 1647 and returned to New England in 1663." "CHURCH MEMBERSHIP: Admission to Newbury church prior to 18 April 1637 implied by assumption of colony office on that date. FREEMAN: There is no record of admission to Massachusetts Bay freemanship for John Woodbridge, but, given his appointment to colony office as early as 18 April 1637. he should have been a freeman by that date."
