Will of "John Winslow of Boston in New England Merchant", dated 21 Apr 1690 "now goeing abroad in their Ma'ties Service to war against the common Enemy", proved 4 Nov 1695, mentions "Honoured Mother m'rs Judith Winslow", "Abigail my Loveing and wellbeloved wife" [sole executrix].

  3. The birth in Boston of John Winslow on 22 May 1669 is probably not this John Winslow, as all other records belonging to parents "John & Eliza. Winslow" go to Family:John Wensley and Elizabeth Paddy (1), and this probably does too, as it fits into the sequence of their children. John was under 21 when his father wrote his will in 1683, so born 1663 or later, and he married in 1689, suggesting he was born by 1668 to be of legal age. Boston is a likely location for his birth, but it is not actually known to be such.
