Obituary JOHN P. WILLIAMS DIES IN HAMILTON A former Canton resident, John P. Wiliams, 91, of 527 N. D st. Hamilton, died Tuesday in the Hamilton Hospital where he had been taken after suffering a stroke at his home. Mr. Williams, who was born in England, came to Canton in 1892 and went to work for the Diebold Safe Co. as an artist decorating safe doors. A number of years later the family moved to Hamilton where he worked for the Mosler Safe Co., and later the Herring-Hall-Marvin Safe Co., now a part of Diebold, Inc. He retired from active employment several years ago. He is survived by a son, F. Donald Williams of Wilton, Conn.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and a sister Mrs. W. R. Riggs of McKeesport, Pa. He was preceded in death by a son, A. Brooke Williams, who died Nov. 27. The Rev. Louis M. Brereton will conduct graveside services Friday at 1 p.m. in Westlawn Cemetery.
