    5 Mar 1728/9: John Whitecomb request his uncle Joseph Sawyer be appointed guardian. Same date, bond of Joseph Sawyer as guardian unto John Whetcomb a minor in his sixteenth year of age a son of John Whetcombe late of Lancaster Yeoman Deceased.
