Witness our hands Decemb'r 23 1736. Signed by Thomas Wheeler, Samuel Meriam, Sarah Meriam [her mark], Thomas Ball, Abigail Ball [her mark]. These may certify whom if may Concern that I Sarah Wheeler relict widow of Mr John Wheeler of Concord Dec'd Do hereby Signify my free consent unto the Proof of Said John Wheeler's last Will and Testam't Dated June 28th 1736. Signed by Sarah Wheeler [her mark] These may Certify whom it may Concern that I Joseph Wheeler of Acton Do hereby Give my consent unto the Proof of the last will and Testam't of my hon'r Grandfather Mr John Wheeler of Concord Dec'd Dated June 28 1736. I John Wheeler of Concord in the County of Midd'x in the Province of the Massachusetts Bay in New Englad Yeoman being of a sound and Disposing mind but calling to mind my frailty and the uncertainty of my life - I Do make this my last Will and Testament first committing my Soul to God that gave it and my body to the Earth, to be decently buried at the Direction of my Execut'r herein named; and as touching my worldly Goods and Estate, Dispose of the Same in the following manner Imp's. I Give and Bequeathe unto my beloved wife Sarah Wheeler all the moveable estate and goods which she brought with her unto me and ten pounds to be paid to her on her Demand out of my Estate by my Execut'r for the payment of which I am Obliged by an Agreement with her before Marriage; in case she shall demand the same also I give unto her one cow out of my Stock or an equivalent part of my Estate in leius of the Cow She brought with her. It. I Give to my Son John Wheeler or to his heirs or assigns fifteen pounds to be paid by my Execut'r within one year after my Decease this being the full of his portion with what he has already had. It. I give to my Son Thomas Wheeler his heirs and Assigns forever all the remaining part of my lands adjoining to him in Chestefield in the Easterly part of Concord be the same more or less w'ch is to be his full part. It. I give to my Daughter Sarah Meriam of Boxford, her heirs & assigns Eight pounds to be paid by my Execut'r within two years after my decease and also my best bed and Furniture belonging to it with one half of my household goods: which with what she has had is to be in full of her part. It. I give to my Daughter Abigail Ball of Concord, her heirs & assigns the Sum of ten pounds to be paid by my Execut'r within two years after my decease - and also the other half of my household goods & moveables within Doors, which with what she has had is her full part. It. I give to my Grandson Joseph Wheeler of Acton his heirs & assigns the Sum of ten pounds to be paid by my Exectu'r within one year after my Decease. Also my whole right and patent of land in Concord Village or New Groton[?] now called Acton. It. I give unto my Son Jonathan Wheeler, whom I make the Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament; to him, his heirs & assigns forever, the residue[?] and remaining part of my Estate in Corcord or Elsewhere, and housings[?], lands, moveables, Stock of Cattle & creatures of all kinds and husbandry tools; he the said Jonathan Wheeler paying all abovesaid legacies & sums of money - and all my Just debts and funeral charges; and my will is that my Execut'r shall review & take in what debts may be due to me and improve the Same so far they will go in the payment of my debts or legacies - hereby Revoking and disannulling all, other Wills & Execut'rs by me heretofore named or made allowing this & no other to be my last Will & Testament.
