On 8 Jan. 1673 [1673/4], he entered land by virtue of marriage with dec'd wife Judith, as part of her portion, on the upland lot of Benjamin Turney dec'd. On 5 Jan. 1673 [1673/4], Henry Rowland entered 24 acres formerly bought of Mr. John Jones dec'd, and put the greater part of it in hands of John Wheeler "my son in law."
Agreement was made, 3 Apr. 1700, between Elizabeth widow of John Wheeler, guardian of her children Jonathan, David and Ann, with John, Mary, and Abigail Wheeler, Nathaniel Porter, Samuel Wheeler and Joseph Wheeler; witnesses, Philip Lewis, Elizabeth Comstock, and Robert Turney. The above were the signers, but the body of the document mentioned John, Joseph, Thomas, Jonathan, David, Rebecca, Mary, Abigail, Ann, and Hannah Wheeler.'
