On Monday, December 25, J. C. Watson, a resident of Van Buren county, Iowa, while visiting with his brother-in-law Martin Sheeman, was taken with a stroke of paralysis which immediately prostrated him and made him almost insensible. The physicians say there is but little hope of his recovery.
