McGEHEE ? John Henry Tullis, 95, of McGehee, died Tuesday at his home.

He was born Jan. 25, 1911, at Lawhorn, La., a son of the late Thomas Jefferson Tullis and Lilian Angel Tullis.

He was a lifelong resident of McGehee.

He was a maintenance supervisor for the McGehee School District.

He was a member of the First Assembly of God at McGehee.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mittie Tullis; eight brothers, Earl Tullis, Earnest Tullis, Jim Tullis, Burn Tullis, Ezra Tullis, Tom Tullis, Jim Tullis and William Tullis; seven sisters; and one grandchild.

Survivors include two sons, Bill Tullis of McGehee and Jim Tullis of Chattanooga, Tenn.; one daughter, Betty Jo Tullis of McGehee; one sister, Idell Wiggins of Jamestown, La.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the First Assembly of God at McGehee with Don Borland and Bob Willis officiating. Burial will be in McGehee Cemetery by Griffin Funeral Service at McGehee.
