Notes

Elizabeth Netherton's father, Henry Netherton, Gent., was married by 1708 to Sarah Tucker, sole daughter and heiress of [Mr] John Tucker of Cople Parish, Westmoreland County. Before that time he appears to have been more active in Maryland [at least as late as 1704], but afterwards he settled in Cople Parish [where he died intestate between 30 Jul. and 28 Nov. 1716] and was given the preferment of Surveyor of Westmoreland County.
