TOWN, John, s. John and Elisabeth, [died] Mar. 28, 1713-14. [Note: The VRs err in reporting this as the son. It is the father. The original isn't online but the town copy is p. 107: "John Town Dyed on ye 23th of March 1713/4". See also secondary sources which apply this date to the father. Of course 28 Mar is past the beginning of the year, 25 Mar, so does not need double-dating.]
