    John H. Tolliver died at his home in Louisville Tuesday morning. The malady which caused "His" death and removed from the county one of its foremost citizens was diabetes, from which he had suffered ever since returning home from the Spanish-American war. He leaves a wife and one son.

    Twenty years ago John H. Tolliver was elected sheriff of this county, serving the full term with satisfaction to his party and the general public.

    He was a good neighbor, a good business man, and a good friend.
