    ... "John Taylor lived in Frankfort, Kentucky, was a Baptist minister, had nine children." Rev. John Taylor, as we learn from the Baptist Encyclopedia by William Cathcart, D.D., p. 1136, was born in Fauquier in 1752 and came to Kentucky in 1779. He died near Frankfort in the winter of 1836. He published "The History of Ten Churches," "Thoughts on Missions" and several brief biographies. Early in his career he was in the settlement called "Dunkard's Bottom" on Cheat River, which is a branch of the Monogahela River. ...
