John went to Oklahoma and Price and Josie went with or after him. He "never worked a day in his life but he made a good living". He rented 80 acres of cotton - had a machine to pick cotton. John got out of farming at the depression and became a guard at the state prison - Oklahoma?
I believe he was suppose to be in California at some time - or when he died?

I am not kin to any Taulbees. I was searching for the local Sheriff who is a close friend :>)
He knew very little about this line of his family.

Funeral services for Myra Taulbee will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday in the Savage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Millard officiating. Mrs. Taulbee was born Feb. 27, 1888, Robinsville, NC and died Nov 18, in a local nursing home. She was married to John Taulbee who preceded her in death a number of years ago. She also was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters and one daughter. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors are one daughter, Hazel Barrow of Bella Vista, Ark: 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Savage Funeral Home.

Have you been in contact with Faye Fowler Passmore at FayeOk@Aol.com. She knows more about this John E. Taulbee and The Lusby family. This was in 2001 that I had contact with her.
This is just about all I know about John E. Taulbee as he is a lateral line to the Julians surname I was searching.
