    John Strickler, an old resident of this place, died very suddenly and unexpectedly at his home near town Tuesday evening. He was taken with LaGrippe several days before but was not thought to be in a dangerous situation. The deceased has resided in this community all his life and was 65 years of age. He was the father of a large family of children who with his aged wife are left to mourn. Funeral takes place today at 2 o'clock at the United Brethren Church.
