    The Stouffer House was built in 1767 by Abraham Stauffer (1729-1785) and Christina Dearforff Stauffer (1734-1808), as noted on the inscription on the side of the house. 3 After their marriage in 1758, Abraham and Christina had four children: John Stouffer (1758-1808), Anna Stouffer (1759-1821), Henry Stouffer (1762-1835), and Rebecca Stouffer (1768-?).
