lived on a farm in Finch township, Ontario, Canada. Cannamore Post Office St. John's Anglican Curch in Crysler John came down from Canada and worked on a farm before immigrating to the US in 1865. Went first to Minnesota, then Wisconsin, then Dakota Territory in 1874. Moved into his house in 1877 and lived there for 37 years. Lois Hall has photos of John and the house. 2 sisters and 1 brother were alive when John died in 1926. They lived in Ontario.
