    "John S. Soles, 76, 413 Neshannenock Ave., died at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday in the Jameson Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness.
    He was born Aug. 21, 1884, in Westmoreland County, a son of the late John and Mary Soles and was married to the former Margaret Echenroad who preceded him in death Sept. 17, 1960.
    The late Mr. Soles was retired and was a former employe of the New Castle Grocery Co. His only survivor is one brother, Edward Soles, in Florida.
    The body has been taken to the DeCarbo Funeral Home, Cunningham Ave. at Outton St., where friends will be received today 7-9 p.m. Funeral services have been arranged for Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oak Park Cemetery."
