"John¹ Sheather came to Guilford about 1650. His wife was Susanna _____, who married second, Thomas Goldsmith. John Sheather's home lot was on the west side of Whitfield St. He was of the Rossiter party in the troubles with New Haven. He was buried June 1, 1670."
