OBITUARY MR. JOHN N. SHAW. The death occurred in Newcastle Hospital ,yesterday of Mr. John N. Shaw, of Elizabeth-street, Tighe's Hill. He was in his 75th year, 60 of which he had spent at Tighe's Hill. He is survived by the widow. three sons, Messrs. George and Robert, and Ald. A. E. Shaw, of Greater Newcastle Council, and one daughter. Mrs. H. McCourt. of Hamilton. Mr. Shaw was a deputy at the old Stockton and Hetton collieries. and when he retired some years ago he was acting in a similar capacity at Richmond Main. He was conductor of Tighe's Hill Methodist Church choir for 25 years. The funeral will leave Tighe's Hill Methodist Church at 2 p.m. to-day.
