- Vital Statistics - Deaths it has that information. Also according to Hardin Co. & Hart Co. Tax List John (Charlotte's father) doesn't show up in Hardin Co. until 1807. In one of my old Self Family Newsletters (the ones published by Daniel McCarthy) there is some more information. "In July 1801 in Chester Co. John purchased 100 acres from George Hardin in wester Chester Co. There is no record of the sale of this tract, but it is know that John was still the owner as late as 1805. Thomas Baker Franklin in his deed of 1805 names John Self as an adjacent property owner." So I would assume that this accumulated information would over rule the boo-boos that we find here and there as to where Charlotte is born. (Debbie Raque)
