    (August 20, 1933 - December 18, 2011)
    John I. Schonour, 78, of Brecknock Twp., died on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Manor Care in Sinking Spring where he had been a guest for the past few weeks. He was the husband of Grace V. (Kachel) Schonour.
    Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John A. and Marie (Hunsberger) Schonour. He was a 1951 graduate of the former Mohnton High School. After graduation he went to work for Rockwell International retiring at the age of 62. He was a member of Allegheny Lutheran Church.
    Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Michelle A. Schonour of Bowmansville, a son, Michael J., husband of Janice A. Schonour of Bowmansville. Three Grandchildren: John Schonour, stationed with the U.S. Navy in Japan; Megan and Micoleen Schonour of Bowmansville.
    Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Allegheny Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1327 Alleghenyville Road, Mohnton, PA 195410, with Pastor Gregory Shreaves, officiating. Inurnment will be in the Church Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the: Church Memorial Fund at the above address."
