-12 Jan 1731 Indenture between John Thomas of Rye, N. Y. & Abigail his wife and Samuel Rodman of Newport merchant. Whereas John Sands of Hempsted, N. Y. late deceased did in his will bearing date 1 July 1710 gave to his daughter Abigail now wife of sd John Thomas, land given to his 2 daughters Catherine Sands & Abigail Sands, land on New Shoreham.
