Dr. Sanders is the namesake of Sanders Street in Indianapolis.[1] The profile indicates he moved to Indianapolis from Bourbon Co, KY in 1829, and lived there 10 years before briefly moving to the Ozarks in Missouri for two years, then returning to Indianapolis. He died of cholera on the return trip from visiting his daughter in New Orleans. References
