The entries in the parish registers for John & Janet's children leave us with a few date problems. In an 1822 register son George is recorded as being born 17 Aug 1821 to John Runciman hynd residing at Greystonelees and Janet Inglis his spouse, with the immediately prior entry being that for the birth of Andrew "born on the 23rd day of Novr 1818" to John at Flemington. As both are on a page headed 1822 the dates given for their brother John on a page headed 1833, but supposedly born 19 May 1821, has to be faulty memory. ?1824 instead?
