Essex, a 20 ms. from London, was freem. 18 Apr. 1637. His w. d. Jan. 1638 [1636/37], in giv. b. to a stillb. ch. and to a sec. w. Margaret, by wh. he had no ch. he gave half his est. was rep. 1658, 60, and 1, and d. 6 Oct. 1663. His will that names only ch. John, was pro. Jan. foll."
