John M. Prominski , 89. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Crumrine); Cherished father of Susan Dietrich (John) and Cheryl Souders (Steve); Adoring grandfather of Matthew Dietrich, Joshua Dietrich, Andrew Souders (Amelia) and Sarah Souders; Trusted son of the late John H. and Stephanie (nee Deszewski); Caring brother of the late Henry J. and the late Edmond; Friend to many.
He earned a civil engineering degree at Rutgers University and was then accepted into the Naval Officer Candidate School in Rhode Island. After serving in the Navy, he worked as a sales engineer and later started his own business (Applied Building Concepts). He also served in the US Naval Reserve and the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.
The family suggests memorial donations be made in John’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project or the American Heart Association.
