    145-3. John(2) Pickard (John 145), born 1 : 1 mo. 1653; married 11 Feb. 1679-80, Sarah, daughter of John Smith (182). She died 28 Sept., 1689 (see will of Widow Faith Law 114 [her mother]). He married (2) 5 Mar., 1690-1, Joanna Bishop, widow of Job Bishop of Ipswich and daughter of Simon and Sarah (Cogswell) Tuttle of Ipswich, where she was born 24 Sept., 1664. He died 1 Nov., 1697. Administration granted, 28 Mar., 1699, to his widow, Johanna Pickard (Essex Probate File, 21788). She was appointed, 29 Mar., 1700, guardian of John Pickard, 15 years old, Sarah Pickard, 8 years old, David Pickard, 6 years old, and Jane Pickard, 2 years old, being the children of John Pickard, late of Rowley, deceased. John Tuttell (Tuttle) of Ipswich and Samuel Pickard of Rowley were sureties on her bond (Essex Probate File, 21789).
