    John Peacock made a will 4 March 1670 in which he mentions wife Joyce, daus Phebe and Mary and son-in-law James Clark. He was first in New Haven, then in 1639 a freeplanter in Milford having lot # 5, consisting of 1 acre and 3 rods, at the corner of the present Maple Street and West River Street (1975). Maple Street was called Peacock Lane. He removed to Stratford, Conn. 1651 and died there 1670. He married Joyce (_____) who was admitted to the church in Milford 19 December 1641 and dismissed to the church in Stratford 7 December 1651.
