Yeoman, being advanced in Years" dated 14 Sep 1774, proved 5 Sep 1780, names Wife Sarah Peabody ["so far advanced in Years, as renders her unable to improve the third Part of my real Estate which by Law she will (if she survives me) be entitled to the Improvement of, during her natural Life, I have tho't that an annual supply of the Necessaries & Comforts of Life will be more agreeable to her"]; "my three sons (Viz't) Oliver, John & Stephen Peabody"; daughter Sarah the Wife of John Peters; daughter Mehitable the Wif'o of Solomon Wood, deceased; daughter Mary; daughter Rebecca; "my above-named Daughters & to my Grandson Stephen Colburn" ["Reason of the Inequality ... I have heretofore given to my Daughters Sarah & Mehitable, who are living, & to my deceas'd Daughter Betty the Mother of s'd Stephen Colburn ... as my Daughters Mary & Rebecca are not married ..."]; "my Grandson Stephen Colburn, the only Child of my deceased Daughter Betty, who was the Wife of Moses Colburn".
