The Howard Story by Lewis Edward Howard, April 17, 1981, Topeka, KS 

 Harriet, their daughter, married John Parsons of Sandisfield, Massachusetts.

They remained in the Saline area while John was buying land. He bought land from sons, John B. and Lewis T., then sold the total acreage to Simon Cook. 

 John and Harriet moved to Grass Lake, MI and the two sons were married.
 John B. married Malinda Lashier and Lewis T. married Betsey Y. Hurd.  John

moved back to the Saline Area where he was listed as a wagon maker by trade.
