Obituary from Kanabec County Times Nov.9, 2010 John William Osterdyk of Mora died at his home on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010. He was 69 years old. He was born May 12, 1941 in Isanti County to parents, Garret and Anna (Weidenaar) Osterdyk. He was the first of seven siblings. The love of his life was Bonnie Werner. They were united in marriage on July 7, 1962. In 1999 his wife died due to leukemia. In 2000 he met a special friend, Helen Soligny, who remained with him for the last 10 years of his life. He was preceded in death by father, Garret; wife, Bonnie; brother, Bill Osterdyk and nephew, Robert Osterdyk. Funeral services were on Friday, Nov. 5 at Akkerman-Ingebrand Funeral Home. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.
