Obituary in the Mexia Weekly Herald, Friday, November 11, 1932 [1]:
J.N. MORROW DIES OF FALL J. N. Morrow, 77, Wortham, died in hospital in Corsicana early Saturday of injuries received in an accidental fall of 15 feet in his barn. He was taken there Friday. Funeral services will be held at Wortham, Sunday afternoon. Morrow is survived by his widow and four children, J. L., of Henderson; A. D., Wortham; Marion, Overton, and Mrs. Walter Mayes, Kerens. Mr. Morrow was one of Wortham's foremost citizens, owner of a large farm on which one of the largest oil wells ever brought in was found during the Currie boom.
