John Morrison and his father, Wm, were instrumental in the 1840s in fir st blazing a trail from Tiffin to Fremont OH, with an axe and shovel a nd then later widening it to what was named Morrison Rd; it later on beca me CO Route 53 and was a vital link between the two communities.
