Obituary notice: Twice-A-Week Telephone Register, Friday, Oct 19, 1913-- "Dies of Blood Poisoning. John Morehead died at his home in the north part of the city, Oct. 7 of blood poisoning, and was buried at McBride Cemetery the following day. He was born in Huron County, Ohio and was aged 81 years, 9 months 6 days. He came to this country fifteen years ago and has lived here continuously with the exception of a few years residence in the state of Washington. He had eczema on one of his legs and contracted blood poisoning in this while picking hops. He suffered some time from this ailment before revealing his condition to his physicians, and when it did become known it was too late to counteract the trouble. Mr. Morehead was a vigorous man for his age, and in his earlier years was a giant for strength. Relatives state that they have known of his lifting as much as 600 (sic) pounds. He leaves two brothers in Ohio, one sister in Indiana, a wife and four sons here, and a daughter, Mrs. Ed Carl, of near Carlton. A burial service was held at the grave on Wednesday."

Note: Abvoe would put his birthdate at Jan 13 1832. I don’t think anyone knew his correct birth date!

"Jonethan Moreheads children names are Osker Morehead of Shelby, Ohio and John Morehead of Yackmaw, Wash. and Eaf Morehead of Monroeville, Ohio and Louis E. White of Goshen Ind."

Looks like he got recorded twice in 1870 Census!
