    "Obituary published 11 Apr 1934 in "The Paris News", Paris, TX:

    J. G. MOORE CALLED BY DEATH TUESDAY

    J. G. Moore, 88 years old, died at 11:50 o'clock Tuesday night at the home of his daughter-in-law, Mrs. J. R. Moore, 1 Finn avenue, where he had been ill the past four months. The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning at Shiloh cemetery near Klondike in Delta county where Mr. Moore formerly engaged in farming.

    A native of Red River county, born December 2, 1845, Mr. Moore had spent most of his life in Delta county, and came here about 10 years ago to live.

    He is survived by one son, Joe Moore and a sister, Mrs. Willie McCaleb, both of Klondike, beside 18 grandchildren."
