From the 100 or so documents on John Brice Mobley I have collected over the last 50 years his name has always been spelled "Brice" not "Bryce". I have at least 5 John Brice/Bryce Mobley's in my family line. John and Elizabeth Dana named their youngest son Bryce. The Brice name comes from the Brice family of Maryland who inter-married with some of our realatives.
