Florence P. remembers him as Uncle Bax-had bad asthma. He was a traveling salesman until he met Tessie. Then he was a barber and he would cut Florence Pittelkow's hair.
In the 1920 census for AZ there is a James McGinnis-since John McGinnis lived in the same area, Miami AZ, perhaps this is a relative. James and his parents were born in Kentucky so maybe John was also. Florence remembers that John was born in Kentucky.
John moved back to AZ when Tessie died-he may have died there.

This was when my Mom (Florence) moved to Arizona to care for the McGinnis'. John had asthma and Potansia (Tessie) had Syphlis. They may have lived there 3 or 4 years.
