- Other pages of this bible make it clear that this bible was created for Almira O . WAIT (daughter of Delilah McNeil) upon her marriage to Dennis Russell in 1866. Believe it to be copied from an older bible, and may contain errors, such as the listing for Cyrenus McNeil.
- Unable to find ANY documentation other than here for a Cyrenus McNeil born 1818+/-. Of note is the burial for a Cyrenus McNeil next to John McNeil. However, the birth date shown on that marker predates the 1818 year shown here. In fact, the date of birth indicated on the marker for Cyrenus makes it highly questionable that John's wife Almira could have been the mother (though births by mothers aged 13 have been recorded). Anyhow, Cyrenus remains a mystery.
