John Mckenny was among several others that appeared in Orange County, VA court on 17 Feb. 1735 and made an oath in open court that "they were immediately imported from Great Briton or Ireland into this Colony and that this is the first time proving their importation in order to obtain their rights to Land all which said persons do assigne their Rights to Robert Slaughter, Gent.
