1931 - Newspaper Item: Mr John James McEntee of 7 Jeanes Ave Glenelg North (St Leonards) who for 20 years was a storeman at the railway workshops at Islington, died on Wednesday night, aged 64. Mr McEntee was born at Kadina. In the early days of the gold boom in Western Australia, he went to Kalgoorlie. Before joining the railways he was farming in the North. During the past three months he was confined to his bed. Surviving members of his family are Messrs. T. J. (Minnipa), P. J. (St Leonards) and F. C. McEntee (Glenelg). |
