Obituary - Bradley, IL, April 5, 1983 John McEneany, 66, of 1280 Gertsam Drive, Bradley, died at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Loyola Medical Center, Maywood. The son of Mr. and Mrs. John McEneany, he was born Jan. 4, 1917 in Columbus, Ohio. Before his retirement he was service manager at McBoom Cadillac Inc. of Kankakee for 22 years. During World War II he was a master sergeant in the Army. Mr. McEneany was a member of St. Joseph Church and the Holy Name Society of the parish, a member of the Kankakee American Legion Post 85 and a member of the Moose Lodge. Survivors include his wife, the former Helen George, to whom he was married Aug. 8, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio; one daughter, Patti McNutt and one son, Jack McEneany both of Bourbonnais; three grandsons, Kevin and James McNutt, Jr. and Ryan McEneany; one brother, James of Darbyville, Ohio and one sister, Peg Tabery of Columbus, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. His parents are deceased. Visitation will be 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Clancy Funeral Home. A wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery Bouronnais. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
